Residents in Sheboygan will have the chance to better understand fair housing laws next week.
The United Way of Sheboygan County has shared that a free fair housing training seminar will be held on Tuesday (September 2nd) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The seminar is scheduled to take place at the Mead Public Library inside the Rocca Meeting Room.
This informative event is intended for advocates, service providers, and managers and owners of rental housing in Sheboygan to better understand laws and regulations as they pertain to fair housing.
Topics set to be discussed include local, state, and federal housing laws, non-discriminatory negotiation with possible tenants, how to interact with current tenants in a fair and legal manner, and much more.
The Seminar is hosted by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Fair Housing Council and is supported by funding from the State of Wisconsin.
