The Minnesota Housing Board of directors has approved over $123-million in rental assistance for low-income families throughout Minnesota. Fifty local, regional and Tribal administrators will receive two-year grants to provide direct assistance to eligible families. Bring it Home Rental Assistance was one of several programs created during the 2023 legislative session to address affordable housing in Minnesota and the rental assistance will go to help thousands of Minnesotans afford their rent as costs continue to rise. The funding is expected to help ensure stable housing for approximately five-thousand families across the state. Priority will be given to households with children 18 and under and annual incomes at or below 30% area median income.
