The Fitchburg Common Council voted at its Tuesday, Sept. 9 meeting to approve a series of zoning changes aimed at addressing the region’s housing shortage and advancing the City’s sustainability goals. The zoning changes offer more flexibility for housing development throughout the city, while also facilitating the installation of solar energy systems for residents and businesses.
